Women in Science
"From then on the leaves of the tree of knowledge were for the women and for the healing of the nations." - Lucy Stone
In general, I admire the power of the women in science, because they show the intelligence what the women have. But in especial, I admire one of these women.
| Marie Curie in her laboratory |
Marie Curie was the first women to win a Nobel Prize, and the first person to win twice in different sciences. Her achievements included the development of the Theory of Radioactive❤ (sorry I love this area) techniques for isolating radioactive isotopes, and the discovery of two elements, polonium (Po) and radium (Ra). She died from aplastic anemia believed to have been contracted from her long-term exposure to radiation, because she didn't know the effect of radiation.
With her two Nobel Prize She showed to all the world what the women can do. Not only to be at home taking care of children, but also doing science!
I love her!
